The aim of this shoot was to standardise the corporate images of the UK directors of O2 and Telefonica. My involvement was from discussing the requirements for the backgrounds to be used and to create cut outs to drop other corporate branding behind the people. The shots had to cover formal and informal with 3/4 length and head & shoulders.
Tour Britannia
The Tour is over three days and covers over 900 miles and visited some prestigious and varied venues such as Silverstone, Cadwell Park and Duncombe Park with the competitors having to drive themselves between the time trails and races. I have produced a book of the event for the last three years which can be purchased through this site
TRANSDEV Burnley & Pendle
The photography is of a SuperHero competition winner who's photograph was used as a promotion on the back of a local bus. I had to take my portable background and studio lights over to the bus company to do the shoot on their premises. Seen here with Mainlion the company mascot from the Burnley Mainline bus route.
Harvey Nichols Leeds commissioned me to shoot their new seasons collection for a magazine article and also new images of the store and personal shopping to update the website
I regularly cover events at Hotel du Vin in Harrogate and have produced various flyers and posters to promote the Spa and Alfresco dining in the courtyard along with shots of the chef and key personnel
Lapicida (stone and marble specialists), produced a brochure that was sent out with the Sunday Times. The photography was of their beautifully displayed marble and stone room sets, Fendi furniture, bathrooms and show apartment. Each set needed individualy lighting with models used to give it a lifestyle feel to the photogaphy.
The Royal Hall Restoration Book covers all the major restoration of the building and of the fund raising activities organised by the Restoration Trust. I started documenting the Hall from 2006 and followed it through to the Gala Opening on 27th April 2008. I took over 5000 photographs covering two visits by Prince Charles, various fund raising activities as diverse as Alan Bennett being interviewed by Dame Fanny Waterman at Rudding Park and Beloved Clara being performed by Edward Fox and Joanna David on top of the scaffold in the roof area.
The book is over 150 pages and shows the true extent of the damage and dilapidation of the building and painstaking repair, from the building work done in the basement through to the gold leaf being laid by the decorators. There is a copy of the book Harrogate Public Library and also in the council offices on public display.
I was commissioned to cover the open day for the launch of the Rolls-Royce Ghost for the press and to produce a book as a memento. The event took place at the sublime Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe in the Cotswolds and was for their clients test drive the new car. Rolls-Royce also brought along a selection of vehicles from their range totalling 1.75 million pounds worth of cars.
