This gallery is of recent weddings done all over Yorkshire and venues further afield such as Cowley Manor in the Cotswolds. You can see examples of weddings in the beautiful parkland setting of Rudding Park and the lakeside of Ripley Castle. Wood Hall near Wetherby with its stunning views and Markenfield Hall, a spectacular mediaeval house and Hotel du Vin in Harrogate, a beautiful boutique wedding venue.

Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with over 20 years experience photographing weddings, I pride myself in being quick and efficient and with
a relaxed approach I record the wedding day as it unfolds. Much of this is done in an unobtrusive way without the need to set shots up (I would still do the more formal family groups but would try to keep these to a minimum)
A pre-wedding chat on the run up to the wedding can really help with how efficient the day goes, and will help to tailor the photography to your personalities and your exact requirements.
My aim is not to take over the day but be a part of it with a good interaction with the guests and will join in the merry making to get the best of the more informal and candid shots and really capture the all the fun and excitement.
From formal family groups to the relaxed and informal bridal portraits I try to make it fun and make sure every one enjoys the photographic experience!
It doesn't just stop there though as one of the exciting parts of covering weddings is designing the album after the event. When you have selected the images you require in your album I will put the layouts together, with a mix of black & white and colour in a magazine style that tells the story of the day as it unfolded. It is then presented in a beautiful book-bound album that you will be proud to display to your friends and family as a fond memento of this special day!
