As part of the wedding photography I can offer an engagement portrait shoot. It is a great way to build up a rapport with me and the shots can be used for invites or a signing frame for the wedding. It is quite nice to do this at your venue and have a chat about the photography while we do this but it could be at any location.
The Photography
Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire with over 20 years experience photographing weddings, I pride myself in being a quick and efficient photographer and with a relaxed approach I record the wedding day as it unfolds. Much of this is done in an unobtrusive way without the need to set shots up although I would still do the more formal family groups but would try to keep these to a minimum.
A pre-wedding chat on the run up to the wedding can really help with how efficient the day goes, and will help to tailor the photography to your personalities and your exact requirements.
My aim is not to take over the day but be a part of it with a good interaction with the guests to get the best of the more informal and candid shots and really capture the all the fun and excitement. From formal family groups to the relaxed and informal bridal portraits I try to make it fun and make sure every one enjoys the photographic experience!
After the wedding your selection of images will form the layout of the album, with a mix of black & white and colour in a magazine style that tells the story of the day as it unfolded. It is then presented in a beautiful bound album that you will be proud to display to your friends and family as a fond memento of this special day!
Dear Tim, I just wanted to send you a message to say a huge thank you for your input on Saturday and indeed in planning the day. We really appreciated the time that you took to meet with us and discuss the sort of the photographs we wanted. I also wanted to thank you for the unobtrusive way you took the photographs and your patience in getting the required family members to the standard shots, especially at the house when you very discreetly went about your business, we hardly knew you were there and despite the difficult weather conditions you managed to get the photographs done. Again, our very sincere thanks for all your input. It has been a pleasure meeting you and “working” with you. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day as I think you could see and were very happy with way you handled the very important part of the day which of course will be a reminder of a very happy day.

The Hunting Lodge
