Issy and Vaughan had in some ways a very traditional English summer wedding with the ceremony at Aldborough Church and the reception back home in a marquee. The bride just added a few twists and ideas of her own. The photography was from the bride and bridesmaids getting ready at home in the morning then on to the local pub to photograph the groom, groomsmen and usher then again back to the brides house. The wedding car was a Nissan Micra - with tin cans and balloons attached, which took them back to the marquee where a fairground organ was playing modern day chart tunes. To keep the guests entertained during the drinks reception there was betting on pig racing (with real pigs!), and the children got to whack a piñata (made by the bride) to get the goodies inside. The marque was decorated with natural meadow flowers and each place setting was marked with a ceramic bug made by the brides pupils at her school. There were also animal masks made by the children for each guest too. The wedding cake was a frog! The evening was rounded off with music from the Nightjars. A brilliant wedding to photograph with some really different and imaginative ideas.
