Harrogate Grammar School Photography
My work includes producing the imagery for the school's website, Lower School Prospectus, and Sixth Form Prospectus. Each year, we dedicate full photography days to capturing fresh, engaging images that accurately reflect life at the school. Working closely with teachers and staff, we plan and create photographs that highlight individual subjects, ensuring prospective students and parents gain a genuine insight into the opportunities available across the curriculum.
A key part of the process is keeping the photography current and relevant. Educational environments are constantly evolving, and regularly updating imagery helps the school present an authentic representation of student life. The focus is always on capturing happy, engaged students actively participating in lessons, demonstrating the enthusiasm and ambition that are at the heart of the school community.
While the prospectus and website photography form an important part of the partnership, my work with Harrogate Grammar School continues throughout the year. I photograph a wide range of events that help tell the full story of school life, including Sports Day, school productions, special visits, celebration evenings, awards events, and school proms.
By documenting these occasions alongside everyday learning, the school benefits from a rich library of images that reflects the complete student experience. From academic achievement and sporting success to performing arts and social events, the photography provides a genuine cross-section of the year and captures the energy, diversity, and achievements of the Harrogate Grammar School community.
